The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN), through the Ilocos Norte Tourism Office, in collaboration with the province’s 23 local government units, has been preparing for the 11th edition of Miss Ilocos Norte.

Miss Ilocos Norte was launched in 2014 and has become a symbol of Ilokano cultural pride, women empowerment, and a platform for local talents to showcase their creativity.

This year’s edition embraces a new theme, featuring “active lifestyle,” where twenty-three Ilokana beauties vie for the coveted title.

“This year, we're approaching Miss Ilocos Norte with a fresh take on beauty pageants by incorporating segments that reflect active living,” Aianree Raquel, Provincial Tourism Officer, remarked.

“With Ilocos Norte hosting the Palarong Pambansa 2025, we are integrating sports and wellness into the pageant to showcase not only beauty but also dynamic lifestyle,” Raquel added.

Raquel also said that, "What makes this pageant special is the specific art direction for each segment, and that Miss Ilocos Norte is a collaborative effort that highlights both the candidates and the creatives behind the scenes.”

PGIN will launch Miss Ilocos Norte 2025 at the Ferdinand E. Marcos Stadium on April 12, with the swimsuit and talent competition. Followed by the “terno” and “inabel” fashion show in Bacarra on April 23, and the activewear and municipal costume show on April 25, also at the stadium.

PGIN encourages the public to attend and show support for their candidates on the Grand Coronation Night on April 30 at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena.
