Known as the “jeepney in the sky,” Sky Pasada is a 15-seater airline that continues to connect travelers to unique and off-the-beaten-path destinations in northern Luzon provinces. The Ilocos Norte-Batanes route operates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
In a statement, Sky Pasada's Vice President for Operation and Accountable Manager, Mr. Benedictine V. Barraquias, said, “By launching the Ilocos Norte-Batanes route, we aim to provide our customers with a more efficient and enjoyable travel experience while supporting local economies.”
"In our future plans, magkakaroon tayo ng sea plane na magco-connect ng Hundred Islands and sa iba pang sea ports natin. Additionally, we plan to establish a Laoag-Calayan route. Although we cannot commit to a specific timeline, our goal is to establish one station per year. This year, we opened the Laoag-Batanes station, and last year, we launched the Tuguegarao-Calayan route,” Mr. Barraquias added.
The airline's fleet consists of Let L-410 Turbolet UVP, Cessna Grand Caravan EX, and GippsAero GA8 Airvan aircraft, known for their capability to serve smaller and more remote airfields.
At present, Laoag International Airport also serves Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific, providing flights from Ilocos Norte to Manila and Cebu.
